Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of FastDog Networks.
Version 2026-10-19
1. Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and FastDog Networks (“FastDog”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use FastDog for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to do so.
2. The service
FastDog puts websites you run behind our edge. You point a hostname at us with DNS, run our agent next to your app, and we answer HTTPS for that hostname and pass requests to your app through an outbound tunnel. We may also score requests for bot traffic and, if you ask, help you look up and register domains. The portal is where you manage this.
We change and improve the service over time. Some features are marked early access and may change or stop.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter a contract.
- Give us a working email address and keep it current. We use it for sign-in, security notices and service messages.
- Keep your password, API keys and connect commands private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person or organization per account. Do not create accounts to get around limits or a suspension.
- Only attach hostnames you own or are allowed to use.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use FastDog, or any hostname on it, to:
- phish, impersonate others or collect credentials by deception;
- host or spread malware, or control infected machines;
- send or support spam;
- run open proxies, open relays or anonymizing services for the public;
- host or distribute illegal content, or content that infringes other people’s rights;
- attack, scan or overload any system, including ours and other customers’, or try to get around our limits and security controls.
Keep your use within the limits of your plan. If your traffic grows beyond fair use, we will talk with you before anything changes.
5. Suspension and removal
We may suspend your account, stop serving a hostname, or remove a hostname if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it is safe and practical we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. In urgent cases, such as active phishing or malware, we act first and tell you afterwards.
6. Plans and billing
Accounts created through open sign-up start with a free trial that lasts 7 days from sign-up and covers 1 hostname. When the trial ends, we pause your hostnames, without deleting anything, until you are on a paid plan. Accounts created from an invitation start on the plan named in the invitation. Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars. Current plans, prices and limits are listed on our pricing page. If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies to your next billing period. Domain registration is billed separately. You can cancel at any time. To ask for a refund, email support at the address under Contact; we handle refund requests case by case.
7. No service level agreement
We work to keep FastDog fast and available, but we do not offer a service level agreement or uptime guarantee. Planned maintenance and unplanned outages can happen. Keep your own backups and a way to point your DNS elsewhere.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. Bot scores are estimates and can be wrong.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, FastDog is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Termination
You can stop using FastDog at any time: remove your CNAME and TXT records and ask us, from your account’s email address, to delete your account; we confirm the request with you there first. We may end your account under section 5, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice. When an account ends we revoke its agent credentials and API keys and release its hostnames. Hostnames of an account suspended under section 5 stay blocked for every other account until we review them and release them. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as disclaimers and limitation of liability, continue to apply.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Each version has a version string at the top of this page. For material changes we will email account holders before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
